Learn how science and environmental issues connect
Mercer University’s Environmental Biology minor is interdisciplinary, meaning you will study biology, chemistry, and environmental science. Our program is designed to display the connections between science and current environmental issues, guiding students to make informed decisions to improve our community and our planet.
During your studies as an Environmental Biology minor, you will gain hands-on experience through lab work, research opportunities, and study abroad experiences. We require students to complete a Mercer On Mission experience, allowing you to apply classroom knowledge to real world problems and environmental issues.
A minor in Environmental Biology must take at least 22 semester credit hours. See all program requirements and course descriptions in the Mercer University catalog.
