During your time studying in the Art Department, you will develop a comprehensive portfolio that showcases your wide range of skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas. This portfolio can be used to apply to graduate programs or launch your career as a visual artist or designer.
Majors and minors
- Art (major and minor) — Our Art major offers three different degree paths. You may pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art, a Bachelor of Art in Art with studio emphasis, or a Bachelor of Art in Art with an art history emphasis. Each degree path offers courses based on your specific and unique interests, allowing you to pursue the career you want after graduation.
- Graphic Design (major and minor) — Our Graphic Design major curriculum equips you to accomplish real-world graphic design tasks while learning other components of the industry such as business and marketing. Our courses are studio-style and prepare you to thrive in real-world work environments after graduation.
