Teaching the Next Generation
If you want to pursue a biology teaching career, Mercer University’s Tift College of Education is a great option for further training! Some options include:
- Undergraduate Teaching Certification
- Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.)
- Graduate Degree in Education

Other Opportunities
There are numerous other avenues for you to pursue a postgraduate education. For example, Emory University School of Medicine offers a Genetic Counseling Training Program for students interested in combining the knowledge of genetics with serving patients and families through counseling services.
