Our faculty will help you find the right internship for you based on your specific interests and career goals. Internships serve as valuable training ground to discover your passions and provide opportunities to grow and feel comfortable working in your desired field of study. Landing the right internship can also lead to a more successful job search process after you graduate. Many students obtain internships in Middle Georgia working with organizations such as Historic Macon, Sidney Lanier Cottage, and others. Be sure to speak with a faculty member about your goals, and we will be happy to assist you in finding the best opportunities.
Immerse yourself in your studies
At Mercer University, we believe you learn best when experiencing culture both inside and outside the classroom. You’ll be in an excellent position to be immersed in the curriculum, as you’re living in the very culture you’re studying. Discover the complex economy, music, literature, and history of the South while visiting historic locations throughout Georgia. Many historical sites are located in Macon and Middle Georgia, including:
