Beta Omega Chapter

Beta Beta BetaThe Purpose of the Beta Omega Chapter of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society shall be to function as an honor and professional society for students of the biological sciences. Its activities shall be designed to stimulate interest, scholarly attainment, and investigation in the biological sciences, and to promote the dissemination of information and new interpretations among students of the life sciences. The TriBeta Research Foundation supports undergraduate research through by awarding annual Research Grants to TriBeta members holding Regular Membership status. You can find the 2018-19 application form here, along with additional details on the grant application process here.

Membership Requirements

Regular Members

Undergraduates majoring in biological sciences and who have completed at least three semester courses in biology (one of which must be above the introductory level) and who have a major overall GPA of 3.00 are eligible to join TriBeta. There is a one-time national registration fee and annual chapter fee.

Associate Members

Undergraduates whose interests include life sciences in some significant way but who are ineligible for regular membership. Students of all majors are encouraged to join. There is a one-time national registration fee and an annual chapter fee.
