The Biology Mentorship Program connects you with student mentors. You can get help with course content, study strategies and planning your path through college. Mentors hold weekly office hours for open help sessions. You do not need an appointment.

About the Biology Mentorship Program
Overview
The Biology Mentorship Program at Mercer University supports students who study biology. The program connects students with biology mentors who help with coursework, study skills and academic planning.
Mentors are upper level students who performed well in the courses they support. They hold weekly office hours and work with mentees throughout the semester. Students receive academic guidance and support from peers who understand the challenges of biology courses.
The program is led by Shonteria Johnson, Ph.D., and operates through the Mercer University biology department. The course prepares mentors to guide students through biology material while building leadership and communication skills.
