Mercer University’s Graphic Design major provides you with the training and skills you need to enjoy a successful career in design. Our multi-disciplined, holistic approach equips you to tackle real-world graphic design tasks while developing other related, critical components of the industry, including marketing and business. We offer a Bachelor of Arts degree within the College of Liberal Arts, meaning you will graduate with a diverse portfolio of design work along with a well-rounded education to prepare you for a variety of career paths.
Unique learning environment
Graphic Design majors will experience studio-style classes modeled after real-world work environments. Our digital design courses are taught by industry professionals in a fully-equipped computer lab. You will collaborate and interact with your classmates much like you will when working as a professional designer, participating in roundtable discussions, brainstorming sessions, and design critiques. Our small class sizes allow professors to forge strong relationships with you and provide individual attention and feedback. Our design labs and printmaking studios are equipped with:
