The Information Science and Technology major is exploding with possibilities that will change the world in which we live. You can pursue a major in Information Science and Technology leading to a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree, or you may acquire a minor in Information Science and Technology. Upon graduation, you will be able to do the following and more:
- Apply software development methodology to the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of a software system
- Learn, evaluate, and utilize advances in your field
- Recognize and make ethical, moral, and social decisions in your professional environment
- Use your knowledge in the fundamental scientific and technical areas of computer science
- Work with others in a variety of contexts effectively communicating your ideas both orally and in written form
