Mercer University’s Africana Studies major equips you to engage with history, politics, current events, and cultures from new and different perspectives. The Africana Studies major is a Bachelor of Arts degree and is an excellent platform to begin reaching your higher-learning goals. You will you explore questions of race, civil rights, history, and political engagement of black Americans.
