Dr. Cynthia Gottshall
Professor Emerita of Media Studies
Cynthia (Cindy) Gottshall is a professor emerita of media studies and the William Lee Davenport Chair in Communications. Gottshall teaches various film studies courses; Journalism and Media Ethics; Race, Gender and Media; and other courses examining media and society. Gottshall received her Bachelor of Arts at the University of South Florida and her Master of Arts and Ph.D. at Northwestern University.
