Dr. Jeremy Rae
Visiting Lecturer of Biology
Dr. Jeremy Rae joined the Mercer University faculty in 2023 as a visiting lecturer in biology. He earned his Ph.D. in biochemistry at the University of Otago in New Zealand. He previously taught in New Zealand at Massey University and at several polytechnics, as well as other teaching roles in the United Arab Emirates, Aruba and at Australian Catholic University in Brisbane, Australia. In 2011, he completed an adult teaching qualification with the Universal College of Learning in New Zealand.

Dr. Rae has been teaching in the biological sciences for 21 years. His main areas are introductory biology, medical biochemistry, medical genetics and molecular biology.
