Dr. Marc A. Jolley
Senior Lecturer of Philosophy
Dr. Marc Jolley (Ph.D. in Hebrew and Jewish Wisdom Literature) is senior lecturer of Philosophy and has taught Great Books and INT. His areas of teaching philosophy include ethics, religion, film, and literature, and he is involved with the ethics minor. His personal focus is on character, and he reads extensively in Thoreau, Emerson, Plato, Dante, and Kierkegaard. He has assisted in study abroad trips to Athens, Greece, and to Florence, Italy. He is also the director of Mercer University Press.
