Dr. Tiffany M. B. Anderson joined the Mercer University faculty in 2024. Previously, she served as faculty at Texas A&M University, Commerce, and was the director of Africana studies at Youngstown State University.

U.S. ethnic literature, Africana studies, disability studies, and cultural studies.
Professional Interests
Dr. Anderson teaches introduction to Africana studies as well as courses that focus on African American literature (cross-listed in English and Africana studies). She is currently writing a creative nonfiction book about her father’s experience in the NFL and the impact that professional sports and aspirations to play in the NFL have on the Black community.
